Rosetta IRDPrint / Remote Capture The creation of Image Replacement Documents (IRD's) defined by the "Check Clearing for the 21st Century" Act (Check 21) has enabled new opportunities for the US banking and financial industry. Now Rosetta Technologies, the leading supplier in IRD printing solutions, has developed software to enable printing IRDs from remote capture systems.
This powerful solution accommodates printing of the following: Standard Output:
Custom Output:
Rosetta Technologies is committed to developing efficient and effective secure document solutions to meet the requirements of the worldwide financial community. Rosetta Technologies has 20 years experience providing printing solutions, hardware and software to the banking, credit union, government, insurance, and financial services sectors. With the implementation of Rosetta IRDPrint / Remote Capture, financial institutions can pursue remote check truncation with confidence, knowing that forward IRDs may be printed securely, and efficiently entered into existing reader/sorters. Rosetta Technologies is dedicated to ensuring that your investment in our MICR printers, supplies and software is protected today and in the future. Rosetta IRDPrint / Remote Capture
It provides the 5 key functions you need to provide easy implementation of remote capture and deposit IRD printing applications. These are:
Rosetta IRDPrint / Remote Capture software also supports requirements for installation at a central MICR printing location. IRDPrint / Remote Capture software composition engine accepts ANS DSTU X9.37-140-2003 check data files and creates ANSI X9.100-140-2004 compliant printable PCL data files. The software monitors a designated file on the server and automatically transforms the data for printing. Printing may be accomplished in an “on demand' or batch operation. The IRDPrint / Remote Capture System is optimized to drive every Rosetta Technologies certified PCL printer at full rated speed. The IRDPrint / Remote Capture software controls the delivery of print jobs to a network attached Rosetta MICR printer. An optional back-up printer is also supported The software may be configured to add a job separator sheet, and a template with bursting or cut marks to optimize IRD post-processing and prints a deposit ticket (cash letter), and detail report and bundle detail report in addition to the individual IRDs. Re-composition allows seamless transfer of a job from one MICR printer to another. A job originally composed to print on one printer may be recomposed to print on another that requires different print parameters, for example when feeder trays or output trays are configured differently. Re-composition allows IRD's to be effectively and efficiently sent to any MICR printer or any print site in your enterprise. The IRD Print – Remote Capture reporting and audit function captures a wide variety of important print job functions and events. These include log files that capture the following:
Standard reports are also produced that contain the following:
PC Server - Minimum Requirements CPU: Workstation or Server with Pentium or higher processor running at 1 GHz or higher. Connectivity: Ethernet connection 10 Mb per second or higher Memory: 256 MB of memory Hard Drive: 50 MB of available space for RIPD Additional Hard Drive: 256 KB per IRD Operating System: Windows 2000 Pro Service Pack 4 or above or XP Pro Service Pack 2 or above.
