Launches PCL Version of Popular MICR Laser Printer, IBM InfoPrint 60
Rosetta Technologies Inc. has introduced a PCL Version of the company's
most popular MICR Laser Printer, the MICR IBM InfoPrint 60.
The MICR IBM InfoPrint 60 offers a new feature that provides native
PCL data-stream support. With this introduction, Rosetta offers customers
the versatility to print IPDS or native HP PCL 5e check applications
from both an IBM host and network by utilizing auto data-stream switching
technology. Now, the MICR PCL IP60 can migrate check applications
from mainframe host to smaller servers.
Many Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) applications such as SAP,
PeopleSoft, BAAN, Oracle, J.D. Edwards and SSA have the capability
to output PCL, so the MICR PCL IP60 can become the designated source
for both checks and reports.
The MICR PCL IP60 is built to meet the needs of high volume check
printing demands while offering greater flexibility; combining significant
cost savings and increased security. Printing up to 60 impressions
per minute with a rugged duty cycle of up to 750,000 impressions per
month, the MICR PCL IP60 can print the entire check including logo,
signatures, MICR line, check form and variable data in a single pass
