acquires
"Digital PreSet"
solutions
from Moore North America
Rosetta Technologies Corporation announced they have acquired, from
Moore North America, the "Moore Digital PreSet" and "Moore Digital
Output" line of solutions for ERP systems. Moore's Digital PreSets
provide fast-start deployment of "(digital) data and form" for leading
ERP vendors like JD Edwards, BaaN, Lawson, etc., as well as vertical
market leaders, like SCT and Datatel, in the university and higher
education market.
"We are eager to combine our mutual interest in seeing customers obtain
the most advanced digital output solution available.", said Robert
Hullar, President, Rosetta Technologies Corporation. "We have acquired
a superior forms design and rules-based distribution that will add
a level of excellence (in design and print) that is otherwise overlooked
by most vendors of similar technology solutions. Combined with the
work in pre-defined data mapping and business logic (rules) that enables
print routing and distribution, we are confident we have the best
solution for any size organization."
Hullar commented that the two companies will work together to provide
a smooth transition for existing accounts, expand each organizations'
presence to customers in common, as well as work together to develop
new market opportunities. "We saw the value to customers with better
design, the printing and distribution of traditional forms, as well
as the enablement of advanced forms and specialty labels; we recognized
the opportunity for our combined customers to take advantage of a
wider reach of technology solutions through this acquisition, and
the collaboration of prior work by both firms."
"The addition of the Digital PreSet and Digital Output line of solutions
is an extension of the collaborative code effort already employed
in Rosetta's "CheckStream", secure check solution.", added Rick Chatfield,

PreSets for ERP, Rosetta maintains the foundation of modular, reusable
code, while adding advanced functionality of our own." The combined
solutions will support bar coding, sorting, and print enablement to
a wide range of devices and formats, e.g., printer, fax, PDF, HTML,
XML, etc.
