Laser Printer from Rosetta Technologies Rosetta Technologies Corporation today introduced a new production laser printer designed to print checks and other negotiable documents on blank stock. The RT 92M brings advanced MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) capabilities to mid-volume and distributed production environments and broadens the company's MICR laser production printer line. Capable of producing 800,000 impressions per month, the RT 92M is designed for data centers, service bureaus, financial services and insurance companies. The high quality output is perfect for checks and negotiables for payroll, billing and accounting services. It also is ideal for lower-volume, distributed check printing environments and for non-traditional MICR applications, such as coupons and concert tickets. Rated at 92 pages per minute and equipped with 5 standard inputs, the RT 92M offers you superior performance and unprecedented media flexibility among printers in its price range. Manual covers on heavy stock, even tab dividers, can be printed from any main body tray, allowing you to generate sophisticated, integrated documents in a single pass. Paper sizes up to 12"x 18" (Super B) allow you to print full-bleed 11" x 17"/A3 layouts with trim marks. You get edge-to-edge printing at 600 x 600 dpi on any supported media. And, the standard 6,150 sheet input capacity assures uninterrupted printing of high-volume runs. The RT 92 has three trays below the engine, a high capacity feeder and a bypass tray - all adjustable to accommodate many different standard and custom paper sizes. Standard output is 2,700 sheets, all with a small footprint. The RT 92M was also engineered to produce standard output at a very competitive cost per impression. This allows reports, statements, etc to be printed on the RT 92M instead of expensive workgroup devices. The standard printing capabilities of the RT 92M allows users to leverage their investment and gain further cost savings. The RT 92M provides the same advanced production printing capabilities as the RT 70M. These include print resolution 600 dots per inch, a powerful controller and flexible media options, including in-line finishing capabilities. PDF and PCL printing is standard; Adobe PostScript 3, Xerox LCDS (Line Conditioned Data Streams) and IBM IPDS (Intelligent Print Data Streams) support are optional.
