IRDPrint OnSight FAQ
Why can’t I purchase a regular printer to print my IRDs?
Click for Answer +/-
All IRDs are printed on blank IRD stock. As with checks, the MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) line containing the routing and account number must be printed with MICR ink or toner. Unlike checks, IRDs can not be preprinted and then run through a regular printer. Therefore IRDs must be printed using a MICR printer.
